Malware inside Contact Form 7 Plugin Folder

One of my websites was hacked last week and they planted their malware inside my Contact Form 7 folder. If I deactivate and delete the folder and then reinstall Contact Form 7 will that mess up my forms? The malware is not coming out easily so I thought if I uninstalled the plugin that might quash it.
