I’m very confused about this, I’m sure its not correct but not sure?

I noticed popup advertising on my own website about an hour ago. Then while searching to find the cause, I discovered any page I visit on codex.www.ads-software.com also has advertising injected into it.

So I visited about 30 random websites all running wordpress and none else have advertising.

I only see it if using Chrome. Safari and Firefox show it fine with no advertising. I’ve uninstalled Chrome, deleted all cache, etc and reinstalled and now the advertising on my own website has gone, however it is still here on codex.wordpress.com

    Anyone else seeing this?

I think it’s your PC: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/ is fine and there’s no ad’s on that site.

Do you have a more specific URL? The Codex is editable by anyone and some miscreants have attempted to insert ads and malware before. The home page for the Codex doesn’t show any history like that though.

It’s not doing it anymore now. However before it was for every page on that domain.
