malware or bot?

This is a duplicate post, because wordpress forum seems to have disabled my last post.

Perhaps it is because I pasted in an excerpt of a strange junky email I got today from one of my sites, https://remotecontroldigital.com/.

The email was trying to sell insurance or something, seemed to be written by a program. Also recently, there seems to have been some malware trying to add users and comments. Has anyone seen this? Is it dangerous?

I just removed any direct reference to my email adress es on the site, by the way, in case that was the issue.
