• Hello,

I have an interesting issue. I use a cdn and get a malware warning saying nws-4a82.kxcdn.com is infected with malware on my website https://www.newmanwebsolutions.com

    – please see screenshot below:

    https://cl.ly/0K2A1L153Q3Y

Shows MW:blk:2 – (javascript from blacklisted website)

When I disable cdn – and scan my site there is no malware detected. When I reactivate it – the warning is back. I purged the zone several times – not sure why this is having when I enable the cdn.

Please help. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? do you know how I can narrow down which script it is?

    Thanks – Lori

Sucuri scan indicates malware infection: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.newmanwebsolutions.com

Carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

Okay, so I cleared the cache (since securi was pulling up a cache version of the website from when I checked it with cdn.

Now cache is purged, cdn is disabled and site is now clean.

Now force a rescan and you will see it is no infection.

    Really strange.

Now Sucuri does not show infection.

    When I disable cdn…

are you using a plugin for CDN?

Yes, i switched the one by keycdn over to wp rocket and enabled it that way. both plugins do the same issue. I opened a ticket and they are saying others are also experiencing this issue recently as well. They think it is a false positive but not sure what is causing the issue.

Since you use a commercial plugin and need support, please continue with their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
