MAMP install issue

  • I do not know how to log in to wordpress after having downloaded the installation to htdocs. I know that I have it set up correctly because I have set the db properly and I can access the site locally. The only problem is that I cannot log in. Anyone have an easy answer to this?

  • A little clarification: Do you mean that entering your user name and password at the log in screen fails in some manner, or that you can’t get to the log in screen?

    Double check if you are using the correct credentials. If so, then reset password ans see if that helps. If that doesn’t do it, then go to your wp_users table and reset your password manually.
