MAMP Over Local Network

  • Hey All!

    So I have really been diving deep into WordPress customization and development as of late and decided to install it on my wife’s old MacBook Pro using MAMP. Once I had done that, with plans of working locally, I figured that it might also be possible to work on it from my Windows machine, which houses my Adobe Suite.

    I have the WordPress folder in my htdocs directory on my Mac shared but when I try to open wp-login.php on my Windows machine it just opens the .php files in Chrome rather than executing them.

    Any help on this solution, if it is even possible to work across machines with a local server?
