Mamp redirects problem
-
I was looking to change one of my WordPress installs using this method,
Changing_The_Site_URL
I edited the wp-login.php & wp-config.php inside the Mamp > htdocs > “test” wordpress folder.
It was a “test” site so I didn’t care if it broke anything. Now ALL my folder’s inside Mamp > htdocs redirect from “localhost:8888” to “localhost”. How do I fix this? I never touched the other folders so I’m hesitant to do any php fixes in there.
Here’s a screenshot of one of the sites I never touched, General Settings

You can see that the WordPress Address (URL) & Site Address (URL) are correct. Also I can still access “https://localhost:8888/wp-admin/” but when I visit the site outside the dashboard it redirects to “localhost”
Please let me know if I need to clarify anything and if there are any fixes to this problem. Thank you!
