Same issue
Hello,
Any updates?
I have the same issue – and I had to go back to the old version of the plugin – which works correctly.
I can’t even link to my page.
Initially, it was created directly from the plugin – now it is the property of the name with which I was once the administrator of the site.
I connect with the old plugin correctly, but the new version does not allow me to associate my page and link it to the site! Please help!
Hey @bahijach , @sdeal & @yas-se ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I’m really sorry to hear that our plugin isn’t working as expected.
@sdeal & @yas-se : I’ll need to ask you to create a new topic since replying to an active thread if you’re not the owner is against the forum guidelines.
You can do that by clicking here. It would be very helpful if you can add all relevant information to ensure we can further investigate.
@bahijach : I’m going to need a bit more information in order to better understand this case. Would it be possible to navigate to the WooCommerce > Facebook > Connection page and let me know if all information is filled in? Can you see the Page ID, Pixel ID, etc?
Also, I visited your Facebook shop but I haven’t been able to replicate any issues. Would it be possible to provide me with more information relevant to that?
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Pit

@pitbozionelos I too am having this problem. I also created a new thread, but my problem is the business extension when I click manage connections.
It is showing the correct FB page and pixel, my problem is with Messenger. It is not allowing anyone to click anything on the right side of my website until they interact with the Messenger icon and minimize it.
In the Messenger tab on Facebook for Woo, there is no place to uncheck Messenger. It gives the same message as Manage connections. “Error communicating with Facebook Business Extension –> click here”
When I click to manage the connection the same message appears. My catalogue, pixel, and seemingly my connection is fine. I’m just having a problem with Messenger interfering with my site. Take a look, let the page load, scroll down and try to click something on the right side before you interact with Messenger https://eandoapparel.com
Hey @wadeharman ,
Thank you very much for replying in this thread and sharing more information. I’ve noticed that my colleague Simon has already started investigating this issue with you on the thread that you’ve created.
Since that’s the case, it would be better to proceed on that thread to ensure that our team will be able to assist you. ??
Best regards,
Pit
SkyVergeHi @pitbozionelos
thanks for your reply. In meanwhile I had contact with facebook. I do not know what they did, but the store on facebook is back again, at least if I am not logged in to facebook.Yes I can see all the required information:
PageID – OK
PixelID – OK
Business Manager Account – OK
Ad Manager Account – OKBut again, if I click on “Manage Connection”, I get:
Error on managing Facebook Business Extension
Bitte richte zuerst die Erweiterung für Facebook Business ein, bevor du die Einstellungen verwaltest.Zurück zur Startseite
Maybe it is just a wrong link?
https://www.facebook.com/facebook_business_extension?app_id=xxxxxxx&external_business_id=xx-xxxxI double checked the App ID, which is correct. But I do not know, if the external buxiness ID is correct. (btw I changed them here in the link as I didn’t want to publish it.

Hi @bahijach
Christine here, from SkyVerge, stepping in for @pitbozionelos. I’m happy to hear that your Facebook store is back up again! Although I’m sorry that the Manage Connection link is throwing an error message.
To start, could you log into your Facebook Business Manager and make sure your pixel, page, catalog, and Business Extension are all under the same Business Manager account that was connected to the plugin?
Thanks so much!
ChristineHo christine,
allready did that. All the things are in the same business manager account.
Cheers
Hi @bahijach
Great, thanks for confirming that for me!
As a next step, would you be willing to double-check if the Ad Account has admin access to manage the account?
Here’s how you can do that:
– log into Business Manager and navigate to Business Settings here
– Make sure to select the same Business that was used in the setup process
– Click Users > System Users
– Select the Partner Created System User and click Add Assets
– Click the Ad Account available for the business, and make sure to toggle the “Manage Ad Account” permission from the right-hand side: https://cloud.skyver.ge/04uq14N6
– Then, finally, click Save ChangesCould you let me know if that helps with the ‘Manage Connection’ error?
Thanks so much!

Hi Christine
thanks for your reply. I just double checked this. My AD account was already added as an asset to the partner created system user with the mentioned rights.
Anyhow i did it again, the same issue appears.Regards
Hi @bahijach
Thanks for confirming that, it’s a big help!
Could you please try adding that asset for WooCommerce Extension V2 System User (FBE) system user as well?
While you’re there, could you confirm that the Pages, Ad Accounts, and Catalogs are set up correctly for the WooCommerce user? Here’s what those settings look like: https://cloud.skyver.ge/L1uJDWkY
Confirming this information is a big help in getting us closer to what could be causing this issue as there’s a lot of links on the Facebook end that we need to consider also.
Thanks so much!
ChristineHi @christineskyverge
thank’s for your reply. yes everything is setup for both System Users.Regards
Great, thanks so much for confirming that as well.
As a next step, would you be willing to try a fresh install? To do this, we would uninstall the plugin from your WooCommerce site and disconnect WooCommerce from Facebook.
Could you let me know if this is something you’d be willing to try? Then I’ll send over instructions.
Thanks!
ChristineHi Christine
I already removed and reinstalled the plugin completely, no succes.
Also prices in the facebook shop are now shown in euro instead of chf.cheers
by the way, the error woth the wrong currency just happens when i vlivked on sync products, which is by the way working even if I am not able to manage the connection.
gixed this now by uloading the data feed manually for a quick correction ??
