• Resolved kense

    In the minimised state, the ‘manage cookies’ button has begun adding strange characters before and after the ‘manage cookies’ text.

    The button on one site, for example, now says:

    a:2:{s:4:"text";s:14:"Manage cookies";s:4:"show";i:1;}

    I don’t believe that the Complianz plugin has been updated in the period between this working and not working, so perhaps it is related to a WordPress / Gutenberg update?

    Any suggestions how to fix?

    Hi @kense20xx,

    There has been a recent Complianz update that affects this button.

    Are you able to manually set the Manage Consent text back to its default text, “Manage Consent”, under Complianz > Cookie Banner, and does this change persist after you save the settings, or does it revert to the format as mentioned in your post?

    Let me know, hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @jarnovos,

    Yes, that seems to fix it, and it does persist after I’ve saved / refreshed etc.

    Thank you!
