After creation of a document having a description with cariage returns inserted, the description is displayed as expected.
When I open the Manage File dialog of the document, all carriage returns are gone, and if I click update … they are really gone …
Furthermore the visual formatting of the description does not work at all (links, bold, etc.)
Looks like the standard visual editor of WP but does not behave like this …
Using german WP, all latest versions …

yes I see the line break issue, will look into it for you.

As for the second issue I am not seeing and striping of bold links etc tags.

You are right – I was partly wrong: bold and other formatting works …
But links cannot be added or edited in visual editing mode: marked text will be underlined but there is no dialog to edit or add a specific link … so …. I have to go to text editing mode to edit the link there … and it is in deed maintained when editing an existing description.

Yep, both those issue I see links don’t work and line breaks don’t work on re-editing description.

I’m looking into a parsing issue and will get back to you.

I’ve found a solution for the line breaks issue, but still working on the link issue.

I will be releasing a new version soon.
