I have copied over the CNAME and TXT records to my registrar (Network Solutions) and MailPoet has been unable to verify them as added correctly. On closer inspection some unusual things are happening.

    1. The CNAME values (format dkim1.sendingservice.net) once saved are showing with an additional point at the end i.e. “dkim1.sendingservice.net.”

    2. Once saved, the CNAME alias is changing from the value enters (e.g. “mailpoet1._domainkey.ghostsigns.co.uk”) to a format with an additional domain added on the end e.g. “mailpoet1._domainkey.ghostsigns.co.uk.ghostsigns.co.uk”

    3. The same as point 2 above is happening with the TXT record so that “_mailpoet.ghostsigns.co.uk” is entered, it appears that “_mailpoet.ghostsigns.co.uk.ghostsigns.co.uk.” (with additional point at end) is saving.

For points 1 and 2 above I’ve taken some screen grabs and put them into this PDF on dropbox in case it’s useful to see them.

Any help much appreciated in helping to get this set up properly. Thank you, Sam

I appear to have fixed this by removing the domain names from the end of the CNAME and TXT aliases, so giving:

    CNAME
    mailpoet1._domainkey instead of mailpoet1._domainkey.ghostsigns.co.uk
    and
    mailpoet2._domainkey instead of mailpoet2._domainkey.ghostsigns.co.uk

    TXT
    _mailpoet instead of _mailpoet.ghostsigns.co.uk

This might be particular to Network Solutions, but worth a try if others are having the same problem with their registrar/host.
