Manage Stock for All Products

    Is there a way to manage stock for simple products too? We would like to manage all our stock from one page: simple products and variable/attributes. Is this possible? If so, what are the settings we should follow?

    Hi Michele,

    Our sincere apologies for the late reply. For some reason we seem to not be receiving notifications from www.ads-software.com anymore.

    Attribute stock can be used with almost any type of product. Simple, variable, even bundled products. As long as a product has an attribute term assigned to it, it will use any attribute stock related to that term.

    For simple products, you can set attributes to not show on the frontend so that they’re only used internally for your stock management.

    Thank you, but that seems quite a bit of work for every product. I was hoping you could just assign the product in Attributes Stock > Filter.

    Unfortunately not. Attribute stock requires one or more attribute terms to match to a product.

    We may look at changing it in the future, but we don’t have any plans to do this at the moment.
