Manage Stock : No. But With Stock Status – Contact for Availability

  • Hi,

    I read in this forum section that this is possible.

    However with your version 1.2.1, I do not see the option to add / use this by default.

    So is it as simple as editing your class-wc-stock-base.php file and add that in?

    I need this stock status for items that we are unable to manage stock for due to the dynamic nature of the stock flow. Many times I can only upload the Stock levels when my manager give me a Stock report from his POS.

    Sometimes even manually adjusting as the stock levels are too dynamic and they can’t update the POS in the retail store in time.

    For example.

    If stock level is not managed, stock status should show : Contact us for availability.

    * Manage stock check box is off.

    That’s all I wanted.

    Many items may have the checkbox unchecked since they are unable to update the stock level for now.

    That’s why have to use Contact us for availability as a Stock status.
