• Hi,

is it possible to manage the subscription (for example change the language) by subscriber without creating a wordpress-Login? Just with a link similar to unsubscribing the newsletter?

Hi, the unsubscription link in newsletters brings recipients to a page where they can unsubscribe or modify own subscription.
So, subscribers following the unsubscription link can edit their data, but they can edit only the mailing lists or custom fields (how to add: https://www.eventualo.net/blog/easymail-newsletter-for-developers/#tutorial-customfields).
    I hope it helps.

    Hi,

thanks for response. The unsubscription link takes me to a page where I can just unsubscribe, but not really change anything. I have just an unsubscribe-button, nothing else.

Is there a setting to make it managable or what am I doing wrong?

Hi, probably you didn’t set any mailing lists, so that option is not visible.
About custom fields, you have to create them via php (please refer to my link above).
    I hope it helps.

    Hi,
Would you mind taking a look inside? We would also send a donation or pay for the effort. It’s important that we fix that.

I sent a test-newsletter to a registered mail address, where also a link with domain/?lang=de&emunsub=hash was generated. This link again leads to the link with domain/?ac=unsubscribe&em1=user&em2=domain&uk=hash. But only the unsubscribe button is visible there, nothing else.

That’s not allowed and author’s who access user’s sites that way risk getting into real trouble on this site.

Please keep support here in the forums.

Hi, I found now the mailing list and created one to test. I can edit now the subscription, but the fields are empty even if the custom fields has already been filled out. Is there an easy way to make the fields visible, which are already filled out? Think it’s disheveling when a subscribers see empty fields.

And the second question: What means when e mailing list is public? Does a subscriber see just his own subscription or is there a way that he can see all the other subscribers (hope not concerning data protection)

Hi, if you like to show the mailing lists in subscription form, you have to set public visibility. The “visibility” property tells if the list is hidden, shown only in backend or also in frontend subscription form (“public”).
