Manage Tags broken

I’ve installed WordPress 2.5 without any problems. However, I’m having a problem creating tags. In the dashboard, I click on “Manage” then “Tags.” After I enter a tag name and a tag slug name, I click on “Add Tag.” Nothing gets added and I see a javascript error box in the left corner of the IE6 browser window. It says that there is an error in line 92, char 4, ‘length’ is null or not an object in the wp-admin/edit-tags.php page.

I’ve tried using Firefox in case this error was unique to IE6. Firefox doesn’t give an error message, but the tag still doesn’t get created.
