• We installed NextGEN last week, tested some features on it and then uninstalled it. Today we tested NextCellent, removed it, and installed NextGeEN back on. However, while the plugin was working last week, it is not working now. It just displays Manage Tags under the Gallery menu.

I’ve installed a clean version on another site that didn’t have either plugin on it at all and it works fine on that site. I’ve purged everything I could think of from the files in the backend of cPanel and it still won’t install.

What do I need to do to get it to work?

@denovati – We continue to see these very “random” issues when that other plugin us installed on the same site as NextGEN Gallery. Off-hand I cannot say but there are definitely differences between the two plugins and they are getting further and further apart with each release.

All I can offer at the moment is for you to submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a closer look at what might be going on under the page.

We will need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with your Bug Report.

    Thanks!

@denovati – Thanks … I do not believe we have seen it yet, but there was some server issues this morning so it may just be delayed reaching us.

@martinpenicka – Normally I would as you to start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site, especially since this one is 10 months old?!

    See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post

As it is, please send us a Bug Report asking for our external Reset Tool plugin, it should sort out this issue.

    Thanks!

This is crazy. I have the exact same issue, googled it and found at least four support threads about it, but none of them explain it.

My solution is to manually delete the fields in the database and it helped. Work two hours. Then Wp Cleanup Optimizer Lite Edition plugin. Lubricate values in Tables I like NextCellent, and other plugins galleries. Just search for the name mysql plugin that you have installed. Let me know if it is okay. I got it resolved.
