manage_slp isn't working.

I just created a new role with just manage_slp and it still isn’t showing on the dashboard. When I change the user to administrator of course I see it. I also went through a bunch of the other capabilities trying to see if there is another capability required. No way to test all combinations without a lot of time.

Any help would be appreciated.

John – I am not sure what is happening with the roles, but I won’t have a chance to test the roles system for a few weeks. I have several product updates to release along with several paid customization and support requests to take care of.

The issue is in the storelocatorplus-actions_class.php file. To remedy the issue in the short-term, search for calls to add_menu_page and add_submenu_page and change the capability parameter from ‘administrator’ to ‘manage_slp’.

@digitalcarla – thanks, I figured it was something like that caused by the CSL rewrite a few months back. I noticed it last night when fixing has_cap() calls that broke WPMU.

This problem still seems to be unresolved as of Version 3.8.8. It would be great if this fix could be included in an upcoming release to avoid patching the bug by hand after each update. Thanks.
