Can you please send us here the code snippet that you used to create your custom code? This way we can see exactly what you used and provide pointers on how to get it working correctly.

I didn’t create any custom code.

Are you using a plugin to create that field and you want it to show on the EDD’s Checkout page?

In that case I would recommend to look at the Checkout Fields manager extension for EDD. If this is another plugin that lets you create the fields, they would most likely need to integrate with EDD in order for the fields to show on the Checkout page and for that you will need to reach out to the developers of that plugin for assistance.

That will allow you to create custom checkout fields for the EDD plugin directly in your EDD store.
