Mandatory fields based on selection

    Hello, I’m wondering if is possible to have mandatory sub fields display based on what a user chooses. For instance:

    How would you prefer to be contacted?
    option 1. email: if selected show email field and make this mandatory
    option 2. phone: if selected show phone field and make this mandatory
    option 3. mail: if selected show mail fields and make this mandatory.

  • Looks like you are looking for Conditional Logic which is not available directly in the Contact Form 7 plugin.

    It can be done via custom programing but you would need to be rather skilled at WordPress development using PHP and/or jQuery.

    Some of the premium Form plugins do offer some Conditional Logic including Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms.

    OK, thanks, I have some php and jquery knowledge, so I’ll look into it more. I’ll look into those premium plugins as well.
