    Good Day,

I have activated your plugin, and whenever I add an order manually in the backend it does not follow the sequence that I indicated in the settings. I have right now NS-7 as the standing order then when I add a manual order at the back end it becomes NS-1385 now. It looks like to follows the wordpress posting ID rather than the custom order ID. How can I fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi @jolipopz,

Could you please try once by confirming the order and then check whether you are getting the custom order which is set or not?

Do let us know how it goes.

    Good Day,

Each time a new order is placed via front end or back end and Whether or not I confirm the order or not. The order number will still show.

Front End: When clients place an order the order number will be the same as the sequence I set with the Custom Order Setting so this is no problem NS-7, NS-8, NS-9…

Back End (Admin): Whenever I add something in the backend via admin role. The Order ID Number changes of that of WordPress Post ID. e.g. From NS-9 from the front end, it becomes NS-1378 suddenly because this follows the WordPress ID from my research.

    Hi @jolipopz,

I have tried placing an order from the backend manually by keeping the Order Number to Sequential, but I am unable to replicate the issue. To me, after confirming an order, the order numbers appear in the sequence. Here you can see https://prnt.sc/vikkl6.

So, to troubleshoot that issue, can you please try deactivating all the other plugins except for the WooCommerce and the Custom Order Numbers plugin and then check whether it is working fine or not.

Do let us know how it goes.
