Is it possible (either via settings or by purchasing any addons) to have ThreeWP Broadcast manually? For example, I have 2 sites in a Multisite Network: one for staging content updates and one that is the “live”/production site. I want to update/modify content on the staging site and then manually broadcast the updates back “up” to the live site.

The way it works now, the live site a post is broadcasted to is always checked – so when I update a post on the staging site, the change is automatically broadcasted. I would prefer the site to be unchecked and set to “not update” by default until I am ready for the change to be broadcasted.

Does this make sense? Is it possible to make it work this way?

That can be done with some javascript (if you know any), or using UBS to create a modification that unchecks the lite site.

I suggest the javascript solution since it’s much smaller, costs nothing and you only have to figure out the name of the Live Site blog checkbox. Your web developer can help you with that.
