    Hello,

I have around 50 manually created orders, moved from my previous website. On each order, I set order date from they were actually bought, for example I have one order from 6th May, and duration of the course should be 24 weeks(6 months). But Learn press counts 24weeks from the day I actually created order which is a few days ago not from 6th May, which says in order.

    Thanks

    Hi mdesignweb,

    Thank you for your message.

You are correct that LearnPress currently calculates the course duration from the time the order is marked as “Completed,” NOT from the custom order date you set. The duration is tracked from when the course is marked as completed and when the “Auto Start” feature is enabled, which means the time the user actually begins the course.

This is the current logic of LearnPress. If we misunderstood your situation, please feel free to clarify, and we will provide a more accurate solution.

    Best regards,

    Hey Brian,

How can I make this correct? I need to change the date for students to be correct. Also by changing order date you can add remove days for the students.

Now sure why you added such logic.

if the order date is set like any date, it should start the course from that day, not server date when I click to add order. Make no sense tbh

    Hi mdesignweb,

    Thank you for your feedback!

You’re correct that the order date currently serves only as a reference for managing the orders and does not affect the actual course start date for students. This feature is not yet integrated into the system to modify course access based on the custom order date.

We understand your concern, and we will take this into consideration for future updates. Once there is a change, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and feel free to reach out if you need further assistance!

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I am using other LearnPress paid addons and also unable to have proper solution for numerous of bugs. Incompatibility and strange logic used in code. Your team is unable to solve that.

I think this is important and your responsibility is to make it as it should otherwise what is the purpose of using LearnPress?

Please solve this or provide me a code snippet otherwise I will be forced to leave a negative review. I am not asking for new functionality just a proper function of the current one.
