Manual order number sequence different to online orders.

    Adding a manual order using “ad new” in woocommerce give a completely different sequence of numbers.

    It should be one sequence for all orders. How to get this working properly?

    I understand that you are seeing a difference between order numberss that have been generated by a checkout versus ones that have been manually added. Could you send me an example of each for reference?

    Hi, Thanks for prompt reply.

    I found that the initial order number for manual orders is the post ID which gets changed when the order is created and then is in the same sequence as online orders. So it works fine.

    I apologize for the delay in responding to you. First, I’d like to make sure we understand the problem you’re seeing. If I understand correctly, you’re seeing different order numbers when you create an order manually. You mentioned it works fine in your last reply.

    Can you confirm if you got everything working as expected? If not, could you send me screenshots of what you’re seeing when you go to WooCommerce > Orders?

    The order number in Woocommerce > Orders is now in the correct sequence. It got changed when the order was submitted.

    However, the emails sent to both customer and admin immediately after order creation still refer to the original post ID, rather than the sequential order number. Subsequent emails reference the sequential number.

    Hey @crossway ,

    It sounds like the Order ID in the Email shows the wrong Order ID. Can you send me a screenshot of this so I can compare them? There is also an update to Sequential Order Numbers can you tell me if this still occurs with the latest update to the plugin?

    Latest update is working correctly. Sequential order number now shows in emails too.
