Hello Dev’s, hope I am finding you well.
Firstly, think it’s great this new CF tool was brought into reality on The Repo!
Reason for posting is because in my instance at least, I am not able to get the Turnstile placed where I need it.

Wishing there were more placement options, perhaps a shortcode/by page I.D? Because I want to place the Turnstile under my contact form (Jeff Starr’s Contact Form X Plugin) on my Contact Us Page.

My second wish would be the possibility of compatibility with another great plugin…
    Block wp-login by Webd Ltd

Thanks for listening, will be watching for future updates.
Truly believe this plugin will GO FAR! Best Wishes!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Sadly it’s not currently possible to place it in any custom forms etc even with a shortcode.

That’s because the Turnstile is a 2 step process. Although the Turnstile widget could technically be placed anywhere, the form submission also needs to be verified upon submission of the form. This is where it would need a custom integration/code with the contact form plugin you are using to stop the submission if Turnstile is not validated.

With that being said, I may implement some more integrations for other plugins, similar to how it works with the WooCommerce forms.

Regarding it not working with “Block wp-login by Webd Ltd” I’ll take a look into this.

    Thanks!

Just temporarily replaced login plugin to WPS Hide Login to test Turnstile, working perfectly. Here comes the deserved review!

Hello @elliotvs, just logged in and updated to 1.2.0
Using Turnstile for login only, working fine, confirmed button null until turnstile check complete, all looks fine.

I dove further to check if assets were being loaded on front end and they are…
    cfturnstile.js (plugins)
    onload=onloadTurnstileCallback (external)

I am a Asset Cleanup Pro user so preventing the scripts from loading on the front end was simple for myself (Turnstile working fine with assets unloaded)…So, just suggesting this be addressed for the millions of upcoming installs/users. Cheers!

Same with the dns-prefetch … Added sitewide
    [challenges . cloudflare]
I have stopped from loading on front end.

    No worries.

@elliotvs, love how the plugin is developing, outstanding updates!
But I still find myself in “a pickle”, with each Contact Form plugin you add compatibility, I find them for my setup unusable.

Today I gave Formidable Forms a try, really nice, able to style form to my theme with ease…Then come to find out Formidable can handle my email configuration…POP3 serverside to GMail.

I know the plugin only has 400 active installs, but please again consider taking a look at Jeff Starr’s Contact Form X plugin for compatibility and if doable? Kindly consider adding it to a future update.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback!

Currently, it now works with these form plugins:
    – WPForms
    – Fluent Forms
    – Contact Form 7
    – Gravity Forms
    – Formidable Forms

I don’t have any plans to integrate it with any more form plugins, at the moment, but will certainly consider it in the future!

Not sure what your exact requirements are exactly regarding email configuration, but have you tried a plugin like “FluentSMTP” to manage your email configuration alongside one of the form plugins? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/fluent-smtp/

Understandable, I had to try! Thanks for considering.
My requirements for Formidable was simply to accept the senders email address in Gmail so I can reply to emails sent to me. I just can’t see adding another plugin to get a plugin to work.
