Manual Points

I guess I should explain that a little more since I realize this isn’t a point system plugin. I was trying to have some achievements need a certain number of points before they are reached and those points would come from physical events as well as online achievements. Almost like the achievements are smaller things and “ranks” or something are the accumulation of points and achievements to a larger goal.

Once again, thank you for your help and for putting so much effort into this great plugin.

Not automatically. If you edit a user’s profile in wp-admin, there’s a box added to the bottom of the page that lets you change a member’s points total.

Restricting certain achievements to only be unlockable by users with a certain number of points is an interesting idea for a future enhancement. If you know a medium amount of PHP/writing WordPress plugin, I can point you in the right direction how you could implement this now.

Thank you for the quick response. I think being able to edit their profile to add points will work great for what I need. I don’t think I’ll need to do custom programming, but thank you. I can just give them a redemption code when they reach the correct amount.

Is there a way to post a user’s total points on a different page? A shortcode or something? Also, can other users see a page of achievements you have somewhere?
