Thank you for the quick fix. But it still doesn’t work.
As you can see in this video I am trying to split but nothing is happening.

Are there some specific settings I need to have?

@oberning Order split will not work with update button, Please use arrow action button right to dropdown selection. Screenshot is also attached.
In next version we will hide the update button on order split selection but for now please use Arrow Action Button.

@oberning please confirm which split method selected in your 2nd tab? Manual split obeys your trigger but still it considers the global settings. I am looking into your issue, you have already received an e-mail from me as well. So if you are comfortable, I would suggest you to join me there.
