Manual Site Scans not working

Can you try re-installing the plugin but make sure that the plugin zip has no trailing characters like “better-wp-security.9.1.0 (1).zip” when you upload it? If the scan results are the same, please grab the Raw Details of the scan in your Security > Logs page and send them here.

The plugin was installed via the wordpress site, so we didn’t upload a .zip. Here are the logs generated during scans. I’ve changed the website address and the IP address requesting the scan, otherwise it’s as-is. Please let me know if you need any more.

@neuralnet, thanks for the scan raw details! The details are returning “clean” scan results, so it seems to be performing as expected, but strangely, the page results say otherwise. 

Can you please confirm that the site is live and accessible? Also, ensure that the Site Scanner IP address: 67.227.194.4 isn’t blocked by a plugin and your server. If both cases are confirmed, can you clear all sorts of cache: server cache -> CDN cache (if you use it) -> plugin cache -> browser cache, and then rerun the scan??

If the problem persists, please try to check for a conflict and see if the Site Scans page will have the same results when only Solid Security is active on the site and when using a default WP theme. 

Another thing you can try is to re-install a fresh copy of the plugin to see if that helps.

Hi there @shanedelierrr, thanks for the assistance. Yes, I can confirm that Solid Security is now scanning properly. Clearing caches etc didn’t make a difference and the IP wasn’t blocked. There wasn’t a conflict and running the plugin on it’s own didn’t change things. I had to do a full reinstall, replacing the plugin files wasn’t sufficient.. but now we’re in business.

FYI the experience I had earlier confirmed to me that it actually wasn’t scanning before, despite saying that it had in the logs. The ‘scan’ previously ‘completed’ in under a second. Now it’s actually scanning it takes around 10-15s to complete.
