Manual update from Dev. version (nightly) to stable, Update reports incorrect

Hey there, I switched from an older nightly build version to a stable 3.3.1 version, by manually replacing the files. Problem is, the network update page is still showing the update to nightly build option. I'[ve run the network update scripts, and all sub blogs report the correct version, but the update core page still displays the ‘you are using a development version’ etc etc, and offers to update the the freshest nightly.. I have checked and re-checked my files…

I’ve checked that I’ve replaced all files, and I’ve scanned my wp-config for any ‘define(nightly)’ or something of the sorts, but Im turning up a blank.. is there an extra php file the dev versions have? is there a value declaring a dev version in the database? I rarely work with development versions, and this is the first time ive converted a site from dev to stable, so im at a loss here.. Any tips or clues would be appreciated..
