Manually add site icon?

    Good day!

    For reasons likely similar to whats outlined in another thread, when I go to My Site → Appearance → Customize → Site Identity → Select Site Icon, I’m able to add a photo, but it doesn’t seem to save.

    Is there a way to manually add a site icon to my site? My theme is Twenty Twenty-One and I’ve deactivated all plugins except Jetpack. Thanks.

    This doesn’t appear to be CSS related, like the other thread.

    Does it save if Jetpack is also disabled? Let’s try that next.
