Manually adjusted stats being added to calcualtion

  • I have an issue with manually adjusted player stats – they’re being added to the calculated amount instead of being used in place of the the calculated amount.

    Example: I have 1 player that had only played 4 games for the team. I’m not sure why, but I manually entered totals for this player despite there being event data for the games he played. Anyway, when I look at his stats in a player list, everything is doubled – which makes sense since I manually adjusted his totals. So, the manually entered amount is being added to the calculated amount – i.e. he only played 4 games, but the list says 8.

    So, to test this, I manually entered that he played 10 games. When I saved and refreshed the list, it now says he has played 14 games (the calculated 4 plus the 10 I manually entered).

    Shouldn’t the 10 I manually entered override the calculated amount? If not, then what good is an editable field if it is going to be ignored?

    no reply required. A combination of manually entered data in the player profile as well as the player list contributed to this. Ugh.
    With no manually entered data, totals are fine.

    Still figuring out the home/away record thing.

    OK. This issue is not really resolved.
    I have a number of statistics I need to manually enter per player because all I have for them is a total for a season (not per event).
    I enter these stats by editing each player and then saving
    Here’s where it starts to get murky.
    I go to the site and click on the team name. I’ve set up each team to show Events, League Tables and Player Lists in tabbed format. If I click on the Player Lists tab and find the player in question, his number are all strange. They don’t add up to what I saw when I edited his record.
    If, however, I click on the players name and look at the player detail, all the numbers now add up.
    Why is there a discrepancy between an auto-generated player list and the player details?
