    Hi,

we use a custom template for the PDF invoice. The PDF attached to the email is absolutely perfect. However, the PDFs created manually (on the order overview or the single order page) does not show any of our customizations. Is this a bug or a feature?

    Thank you!

Could you please show the difference between both PDF documents, so we can try to understand what is happening? If so, please hide any customer information.

Yeah, sure. First screenshot is correct and shows header and footer. Second screenshot is of the manually created invoice. It misses header and footer.

Do you have the Premium Templates extension installed on your site?

Nope, we use the free version without any extensions or additional templates.

The Thread Starter sent us a message, and we managed to discover what happened here. It turned out to be caused by an active code snippet that was hiding the header and footer when the PDF document was opened from the admin (using the wpo_wcpdf_custom_styles action hook).

    Hi Yordan,

oh my, this is most embarrassing. I apologize for wasting your time. I had no idea that this action was in the functions.php. I can just guess that the customer used printed office paper and had header and footer removed years ago. Now he told me that the PDF was “wrong”. Probably he switched to plain white paper for printing the invoices.

Again, I’m very sorry for this mistake and grateful for your great support.

    Thanks, Mike
