    Hello,

Thank you very much for creating this plugin. I’m currently testing it out in the hopes of helping a friend with his ecommerce website. At present, I have been able to import all of his products. I left the “URL of the live Magento web site” blank as I didn’t quite know what was best, since I manually backed up his sql database and imported it into my wordpress one.

I noticed that the FAQ explains that this is why the images were not imported. What I want to ask is, is it possible for me to manually import the images onto the WordPress site? If so, what directory does the media need to be in?

    Any help is much appreciated,
    Darran

In the URL field, you must enter the URL of the live Magento site.
If this field is wrong or empty, the images won’t be imported. There are no other ways to import the images.

Ah, that’s great. Thank you for the reply. I am trying that now.

That worked like a charm. I first ticked “Remove all WordPress content” and clicked “Empty WordPress Content” before starting the import again with the magento site url keyed in. I was afraid that this might not have worked since the other settings needed tweaking in my case. Worked great. Many thanks.
