• I’m not sure if this plugin is still being maintained, but I have a feature request which I need some assistance with.

I would like to be able to insert the suggest review link anywhere within a page template rather than it being automatically added to the footer area. I can successfully add the button using <button id="SuggestReviewButton"> but the default button still appears and none of the settings set in admin apply to the button which is manually inserted using <button id="SuggestReviewButton">.

I am trying to create a suggested review system similar to what YP.com has implemented where the suggest link appears after each bit of information rather than just at the end of the page. So I need to manually add the button to the page template (which uses the admin settings) and remove the original button from the footer.

    Any ideas?

I think I understand what you’re asking for, but I’m going to restate it so you can correct me if I’m wrong. You want a suggest review button on each item in a list. If that’s right, then I can say for sure that this was never intended behavior of the plugin, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it happen. I’d need to know a bit more about how the page template worked, though.

    Sorry for the bad description.

What I am asking is for is a suggest review link to be placed on a single post/page manually so I can place it anywhere. I have a business directory and I would like to place a suggest review link after each line of business info such as after each of the following:

    Address
    Phone Number
    Hours
    Description

    Thanks.

So multiple buttons but they would all point to a single post/page id?

If I just had the ability to manually place the button in a page template then I can figure out the rest…

Is there a way to manually insert the suggest review button via PHP that will keep the settings which are set by admin? And is there an easy way to remove the button which is auto displayed in the footer other than by hiding it with CSS?

Is there a way to manually insert the button into a template or not?

At this time, no. However, I’m hoping that I can find the time this week to put something like that in there.

    Okay thank you.

I’m going to have to delay any feature addition for this, I’m afraid. I just haven’t had the time to look into it much and likely won’t for at least another two weeks. It’s still on my radar to et to, but you may want to look into another plugin. I just don’t want to string you along.
