    ISSUE ONE:

I’m getting the following message in my WordPress Admin Area/Dashboard at https://internettvdotcom.com/…

“W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove xxx/public_html/InternetTvDotCom.com/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

I did a complete manual uninstall of W3TC via FTP and also deleted all W3TC content from my htaccess and wp-config files. But I still get the same message above in my Admin area and don’t know, for the life of me, why and how to remove this error message.

ISSUE TWO (RELATED TO ISSUE ONE):

I can login to the Admin area without any difficulty but cannot get access to anything inside… I get a 404 Page Not Found when trying to open Posts, Pages, Plugins, etc. I checked both htaccess and wp-config files and even replaced both files with the backups I saved to see if the issue could be resolved, but that didn’t work.

I also deactivated all plugins to if I could get into my plugins from Admin Area, but that didn’t work.

Perhaps if someone could tell me how to resolve ISSUE 1, it may resolve ISSUE 2, since both issues seem to have occurred at the same time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Update:

I can now get access to all categories inside admin area but cannot get access to Appearance and Plugins — 404 Page Not Found.

Whenver I login to WordPress I continue to get the same error message at the top in my dashboard and it appears under WordPress News in the right column as well…

“W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home4/p100809/public_html/InternetTvDotCom.com/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

When I open acategory such as Posts the Error message above disappears and when I go back to my dashboard the Error message at top disappears but it still appears in the right column under WordPress News.

There’s still no advanced-cache.php anywhere; I’ve checked many times over. I also reinstalled WordPress and changed my Plugins folder name to disable all plugins. That didn’t correct the Error message issue or Appearance and Plugin category issue.

I have no clue what is causing this message to appear each time I login. I even reinstalled W3TC via FTP and the issue still remains.

I’m wondering whether or not the issue really points to my 404 Page Not Found error with Appearance and Plugins when working with my htaccess and wp-config files.

This issue is now resolved with Hostgator’s help. I forgot to flush the cache from Cloudflare.
