I′m getting dozens of 404s errors every day. The most of them are from /tag/… or /category/… I deleted a lot of tags time ago and I think are those tags, but they never got indexed. I checked all the indexed pages in search console and there are no tag pages, so nobody should have access to those links. Why then redireccion plugin reports me 404s from those links?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The logged 404s are real requests that occur on your site. I cannot say why they are occurring, and you can use the information in the log to try and determine that yourself.

Look I attach a link with a screenshot of what the plugin shows to me:

Are they bots? Why are checking that kind of pages? They are not accessible for the viewers, I don′t understand from where they find the links. I don′t index by tags. My link format is domain/category/page title.

Any idea about what′s going on?

I couldn’t say, and the plugin doesn’t offer any interpretation. It logs activity and it’s up to you to interpret this and decide what actions to take, if any.
