It looks as though, because the captcha changes each time, it’s making the search engines think they are broken image links. I need advice on how to fix this.

Solve the AJAX issue first. In cached pages, CAPTCHA images are also cached, so won’t work. Contact Form 7 has a function that reloads CAPTCHA dynamically, and it only works in AJAX-available pages.
