Many daily login attempts

Hi,
I recently switched to your plugin and like it so far.

I have made numerous changes as suggested in the plug-in, notably the changing on the name of wp-admin to a difficult word.
However I’m finding the number of (failed) login attempts to be just as high as before.

How is this possible considering I’m no longer using wp-admin and the new name is obscure?
