Many google font files

    Hello,

    I’m using the theme for some websites, and they al have problems with making many Google font files (.tmp) that is hurting the server! Its also because the theme uses the Redux Framework.

    Does somebody know a solution for this .tmp file problem ?

    I’m confused, what is “hurting” the server? What version of the theme are you using?

    Were using Virtue 2.2.1

    The website is making very much googlefont….tmp files the server cant handle al those file’s i think the theme is making the tmp files when visitors are visiting the website.

    It also have something to do with the Redux Framework.

    You need to update to 2.2.8. I don’t quit understand your issue, but have you tried deactivating redux framework?

    Go to plugins, find the redux framework and select deactivate. Although to be honest I’m not sure what this plugin would have to do with google fonts..

    I don’t see the Redux Framework in the plugins section… i think that its build into the theme… And i think its something in the Theme that give the problems…

    The website is making very much .tmp files like:

    googlefonts99975.tmp
    googlefonts99976.tmp
    googlefonts99977.tmp
    googlefonts99978.tmp
    googlefonts99979.tmp

    etc…

    All these files made the server crashing…

    That looks more like an error on your server. Try actually installing the redux plugin. Some servers don’t have the permissions setting set up correctly and thus they run redux better from a plugin.

    I have the same problem and do not use anything virtue redox etc
    but also I get style.tmp and wordpress.tmp files
    In the root from my uploads map
    The most tmp files are 0 but not the wordpress.tmp

    in the map was a .htaccess file
