Many of the mapped fields don’t show up in the description

    I have used Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce to generate a Google Shopping feed for my store.

    In the feed, I notice that many of the fields mapped during creation do not appear. In particular, an important field – product description – does not appear.

    Re description, I should say that when I map description to unfiltered description, then it does show up, but obviously with a bit of HTML formatting code.

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. The plugin, by default, strips out al HTML and short codes from the description and product names as those usually are not allowed by marketing channels. When you have a lot of HTML in your descriptions than indeed there is a change that everything will be removed. By changing the field mapping to “unfiltered description” you indeed get all the HTML and formatting in it. Unfortunately there is no in-between option. Perhaps you have a better/cleaner short description field you can use for your feed?
