many queries from Falang, screenshot inside

    i really like the plugin but it concerns me that it uses many queries recorded by query monitor plugin. more than 10 queries from falang and the page is almost empty! nothing special is going on. Are there any plans to optimize this?

    Sorry i was quite sure i have responded last week.

    On a woodmart theme , with woocommerce installed i have

    for the home page

    • 30 woocommerce queries
    • 10 wordpress core
    • 36 falang
    • 17 cookie law info
    • 3 yoast

    27 queries for Falang (113 queries)

    for products page

    • 60 woocommerce
    • 12 woodmart
    • 27 falang
    • 4 yoast (1 slow querie)
    • 52 theme

    27 queries for Falang (251 queries)

    Falang don’t make so many queries to translate all the plugins/themes

    i think nearly 30 queries are a lot. but sure one could argue about whats a lot and what is “not so many”. But what i’ve noticed falang does not use transients or wp_cache_set – so i think there is a lot of potential for saving some queries

    Falang can probably be improved for performance,but it is already one of the fastest on the market. the improvment will be more to be easier to use and support of other builder system.
