many widget not working as expected

    Hello all,

    I followed the official documentation to setup the following widgets:

    -news ticker
    -Featured Slider
    -Highlighted News

    Eventhough, my blog contains several posts and the widgets are set such as they view last posts, the sections of mentioned widgets are not shown when visiting the website.
    I am working on local website.

    There is a way to solve this issue?

    The documentation is a little bit ambigus regarding static pages.

    The theam authors do not say that it is required to set a static home Page to get the intended behavior.
