    Good morning,

I’m using your plugin for some old pages, so I didn’t see the bug quickly, but there is a pretty recent update (of your plugin or another one) that created a conflict that made the display of the maps not functional.

On the page, the map is supposed to appear below the photo gallery. But instead there is a blank space. I should point out that this is not because of the billing account at Google, I have it and it is working.

I tried to deactivate plugins like Autoptimze, Asset CleanUp,… I cleared the cache and went back to the page but nothing changed.
I also tried to regenerate the map by putting it back in the article, without effect.

Can you please help me to find out what is blocking the display of the maps in your plugin please?

    Thank you in advance,

    Kévin CAROL

    Hi,

We think this is a cache issue (cache/autoptimize/autoptimize_single_….), or maybe some conflict…

    Please do these steps
    1) Deactivate autoptimize and cache plugins,
    2) from Plugins / PLugins editor / select google map / open gmwd_admin_class.php file and change version number,
    3) Deactivate and active map plugin (see the following video),
    4) Then check again, if it helps, activate the autoptimize and cache plugins again.
    5) If it doesn’t help, use “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin, and check conflict with other plugins and theme.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for your detailed answer and for the video.
I got to point #5 without the problem being solved. So I used the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and the troubleshooting mode, and I managed to identify the plugin that is in conflict: it is Wp-Rocket.
It was the “load javascript deferred” option that was causing the problem, but by excluding this source from this option: maps.googleapis.com , it solved the problem.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Best regards,

    Kévin CAROL
