Hi, the map on our Events Calendar is showing some odd behaviour with Maps. The Maps worked on first install but have now begun to display only in the top-left corner, overwriting the other content as the load finishes so you end up with a large grey box with only a small box of map in the top-left.

It looks like it may be a caching issue as it often *doesn’t* happen on the first visit to an event, but it’s not consistent. There don’t appear to be any conflicts and it happens even in a cleared/incognito window.

Anyone seen this and, better yet, can identify the problem?

    Jack

  • Hi there!

    What’s the website?

Also, do you have any caching plugins installed like WP Super Cache or WP Optimize, Page Optimize etc.?

Hi James, thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I can’t share a link to the site as it’s in development and still “under wraps”, though it’ll be launching soon (currently planned for June 23rd). We’re not using any caching plugin, the closest we are using is Yoast and Google Site Kit, but they’re also in use on another two sites that don’t display this issue.

Shall I get back to you once the site is launched?

Hi James, can I PM you with the URL of the site?

    Hi there @cobnutweb

Have you tried running through our conflict testing guide to see if this issue is caused by a theme or plugin conflict?

Let me know what you find.

    Best regards,
