A property of the theme that I have installed (CSSIgniter) was set incorrectly.

I had this problem as well with using Nomad World Map plugin along with the CSSIgniter plugin.

On the CSSIgniter Shortcodes – Settings page

Uncheck – Load Google Maps API.
