Map Link for Mobile Devices?

Read the documentation and invested time in the support forum but can’t figure out how this could be done OR if it’s even possible: How to automatically have created a Google map link for an event for a mobile user?

I ask since this is the immediate feedback I received once we completed the Events Manager setup: “Once an event single is displayed, there isn’t a simple way for a mobile user to touch on something and have it launch their device’s native mapping app.”

Tried it out and the client was right (of course) so is there any way to accomplish adding a link that could launch a mobile device’s mapping application?
