  • Hi MarkG,

You have JS error on page in file devicepx-jetpack.js:7 so FYN could not finish with AJAX.

Plugin works just fine when there has no JS errors on page. Try to solve error you have, and I’m sure FYN will work ??

    Cheers

    Hi there urkekg,

Thanks you so much for your response! But could you be more specific where that error is? Is that under plugin’s directory?

    Thanks!
    MarkG

Open console in Google Chrome and you’ll see one error message. I think file that produced JS error is part of Jetpack plugin, but not sure. Try to disable Jetpack and then try FYN search again.

I disabled the Jetpack plugin but still won’t work.. ?? I also tried to disabled all the plugins but that also won’t work. ??

    Thanks!

Last resort – theme. I saw theme you use is fancy. If FYN does not work with default theme (twentyfourteen), then feel free to contact plugin author (I’m just one of users who tweak premium version for customer because plugin’s author had no time to tweak plugin by customer request).

And, I know this work just fine for UK and post codes in UK. Never tried with US or other post codes.

    Cheers

Yeah Urkekg! We have narrowed it down to a theme conflict. By any chance do you knows where the conflict may arise? By the way, Is there another way I can contact the author of the plugin? He did not respose to any of my emails. We really appreciate your help!! ??

    Thanks,
    Mark G

About half year ago, I got response from author by email. Not sure was that contact form or just email address on author’s website.

I know that on Add New FYN page getting geo cords by postal code does not work if MapPress plugin is enabled. Search on frontend works.

Ping author again, and again. He will respond when get some free time.
