I am not technical but need a way to add ALT text to my images in Lightroom. Can you suggest a way of using your plugin or suggest another that might make this possible?

Thanks for your question. MLA will help you manage your ALT Text values within WordPress, but it does not have any features for Adobe Lightroom.

I will forward your question to a friend who uses Lightroom, and I will respond to the other topics you’ve started regarding MLA’s features for managing ALT Text within WordPress.

Hello, David asked me to chip in and here I am. ??

The ALT text is a web (HTML) property for images that Lightroom does not support directly. Lightroom uses IPTC, and you can map the IPTC “Title” that you set in Lightroom with Media Library Assistant. The field in MLA is “2#005 object-name”.

If you want to supply a bit more details from the IPTC “Caption” field instead, that would be “2#120 Caption or Abstract” in MLA.

    Hope to help!
    Alexander.

Thanks, @antermoia, for adding your tips.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it or one of the related topics if there’s anything else I can do to help. Thanks again for your interest in the plugin.
