  • I was having trouble with this as well. I finally got it going by enabling the GeoCoding API. However, I think you are required to set up billing information with Google now, whether you plan on exceeding the free limit or not. So try adding billing information and if you already have that set up, try enabling the GeoCoding API. Good luck. I ended up just disabling the map all together.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t expect to have a large amount of visitors to this site but do not want to enable billing as there is no budget for this. How did you disable the map from showing? I did not see an option to do this.

I removed the map unavailable message by deleting the line that shows the map under the formatting tab in settings. Just go to Single Event Page and delete the div line that shows the map. Can’t remember exactly what it said as I’ve now deleted it ??

You can also in the settings deactivate the integration of google maps.

Thanks. That worked. I removed the following line under Formatting > Single Event Page

    <div style=”float:right; margin:0px 0px 15px 15px;”>#_LOCATIONMAP</div>
