Map will not load

It seems there is also an api issue

What am I missing with the api key?. I have the domain listed, I’m not sure why google is not authorizing the plugin.

Hi there – I believe this is due to the new Google requirement to have an API key. Try this plugin to fix that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/

I also installed the plugin that your link suggested and it still does not work.

I’ve having very similar issue and have added the API as well. The map simply is not loading and I’m getting 2 uncaught reference errors “google is not defined” in two separate js files.

Just wanted to chime in that we’re digging into this deeper. A lot of users are reporting problems since the new requirement from Google for a Maps API key, but not all users, so it’s a bit difficult to narrow down exactly what the problem is.

@gadietrich can you create a new ticket here so we can track these two issue separately? They might not be exactly the same issue.

In your new ticket, please give me as much detail as you can on how you created your API Key.

@jcpennys7 Same question, can you provide details about the API key you created? Please disable that other plugin for now and let’s focus on Maps Builder and our own API Key settings.

I entered an API key and its not working for me either. The map is simply not showing, at all, (backend). I cant enter any locations … cant do nothing
