I just install cf7 and this plugin , have questions:

    1) Is is necessary to add filters in functions.php to enable mapping ?
My mapping screen is not shown correctly as the plugin screenshots,
the ‘Create’ block not shown aand can’t be save anyway.

    2) Is this run with cf7 shortcode ( [cf7-form] ) or not ? something described like [cf7-2-post key=”mykey”] don’t work for me at all. see: https://imgur.com/a/IYb6ndx

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I was away travelling with limited connectivity.

no you don’t need to have any specific filters. You just need to map your form fields to your post fields. filters are only used to further customise the post creation and mapping/loading of the form.

There may be another plugin interfering with your setup, have you inspected your page to see if there are any javascript errors? Have you enable the WP_DEBUG mode to see if you are getting any errors.

Can you please try to see if it works by changing your WordPress installation locale to en_US (Settings->General), maybe there is a bug with your loale which might need fixing, but I need to rule this out too.

    Is this run with cf7 shortcode ( [cf7-form] ) or not ?

yes, you need to use the plugin shortcode to load all the required js scripts on the front-end.

no, there is no mention of cf7-2-post shortcodes anywhere in teh documentation, so I am not sure where you have read this.

oops, just realised the documentation has some old reference to a shortcode which is no longer in use.

seeing no replies to my above post in over 2 moths, I am assuming your issues are resolved and therefore marking this thread as resolved.
